Steeple Ashton
A single-storey red brick rear extension in Steeple Ashton, near Trowbridge, with the back of the house opened up on new steels and white bifold doors onto the garden.
At this home in Steeple Ashton, near Trowbridge, the back wall of the house was opened up and new steel beams and posts were put in to carry the brickwork above. The steels run out across the new space, so the existing rooms open straight into the extension.
The extension itself is built in red facing brick to match the house, with a brick plinth course along the base, stone coping along the top and wide white bifold doors opening onto the garden.
As with all our structural work, the steels were installed to the structural engineer's specification.
