The wall between the kitchen and dining room taken out in a Corsham home, with a new supporting beam boxed in and plastered to open the two rooms into one.
In this Corsham home, the wall between the kitchen and the dining room was taken out to make one open space. A new beam now carries the load where the wall used to be, boxed in and plastered so it sits neatly across the ceiling.
The ceiling and walls around the opening have been patched and plastered, ready for decorating, and the room now runs straight through from the kitchen to the doors onto the garden.
As with all our structural work, the beam was installed to the structural engineer's specification.
