Complete garden transformation with 100m² of grey porcelain, Devizes
A full garden transformation for a family in Devizes: over 100m² of grey porcelain paving, sleeper work, plum slate and new turf, built on a properly compacted sub-base.
The brief
A family in Devizes wanted a complete transformation of their garden, and they knew exactly what they wanted. We worked closely with them from start to finish to deliver it.
What we did
Everything starts below ground. We put down between 15 and 20 tonnes of Type 1 sub-base, so the paving has a solid, well-compacted foundation that won't sink or rock over time.
On top of that we laid over 100m² of grey porcelain paving, jointed with 20 tubs of easy-grout compound for a clean, consistent finish. We added sleeper work and 4 tonnes of plum slate, and finished with 50m² of premium turf.
The finish
The result is a large, low-maintenance outdoor space laid to the standard we'd want in our own garden. Garden lighting is being installed by Nursteed Electrical Ltd to complete the project.
